Take the first step—I’ll meet you there.
Meagin earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2023 and her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2026. Meagin’s education and experience have equipped her to work with individuals ages 16 and up, and she especially enjoys supporting young adults, college students, and adults as they navigate life’s challenges and transitions.
Meagin is passionate about creating a safe, nonjudgmental, and genuine space where clients can show up exactly as they are. She enjoys working with clients who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, struggles with self-identity, eating disorder and body image concerns, and the unique challenges faced by first responders and nurses. Meagin believes every client is the expert in their own experience and values collaborating to create a treatment approach that feels supportive and meaningful to each individual. She may use a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy, relational therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).
Meagin believes therapy can be a place to both challenge yourself and celebrate your wins along the way. You don’t have to have everything figured out or be perfect before coming to therapy; you simply have to show up. She hopes to create a space where clients feel safe being honest, exploring the parts of themselves they may not fully understand, and taking steps toward the life they want.
Finding the right therapist can make all the difference. Meagin welcomes the opportunity to meet with you and see if you feel like the right fit as you take your first step toward growth and healing.
Outside of work, Meagin loves reading, trying new coffee shops, thrifting, and experimenting with new sourdough loaves!
Meagin sees clients in person in Dilworth and virtually throughout North Carolina, with limited evening availability.
